To Serve ‘God in Man’ is the highest ideal that guides voluntary action in Social Work. SANDESHKHALI MAA SARODA WOMEN & RURAL WELFARE SOCIETY, since its inception has been serving the people the poor and the disadvantaged irrespective of caste, creed and religion for a quality life in the operational areas of North 24 Parganas,Nadia & Uttar Dinagpur District of West Bengal.
In the process of development, the organization emphasizes on human resource development, mobilization of local resources and environment conservation towards achieving sustainable development with the community participation.
This report is the reflection of the activities initiated by the organization during the year 2020-2021. In the process of work, the experience of success and failure that has strengthens the vision and capacity of the organization to work more effectively for the well being of the people-in-need. And I do feel that the humanitarian work that the organization has initiated will go a long way to grow further for ameliorating the suffering people.
Before concluding I like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the community people, well-wishers and development partners whose unstained support and co-operation have made it possible to keep full fill our efforts towards development. I do also convey my heartfelt thanks to all our members, staff, volunteers and above all the community people for their dedication and commitment to the service of ‘Man and Society’.

Mangroves Plantation at North Sundarban
Due to devastating cyclone like AILA, AMPHAN,BULBUL, YAAS lots of mangroves has been lost . As a result the river embankment become vernal-able. This mangroves will protect river embankment as well as create livelihoods also.
World Environment Day
We observed Mangroves Yatra on World Environment Day. We aware local peoples of Sandeshkhali to protect Mangroves . Our mission started from 7.00 morning and traveled 15 km and ended the programme at 4.30 PM.

We constructed 3 nos of ICDS center at North Sundarban . The said center was bonded for long time . The local students and mother were suffering for safe drinking water , Light Fan , Toilets . We made the center new and availed all the facilities .

Near about 4lakhs peoples are living here in Sandshkhali and more than 60% of them are under BPL.They are struggling with the poverty .
